Divine Simbi Ndhlukula was born in Gutu in February 1960 and founded SECURICO Security Services in 1998 with four employees and an office in a converted cottage at her home.
SECURICO, held through DDNS Security Operations, now has branches in every town in Zimbabwe and employs more than four thousand people, some nine hundred of them women, in an industry that had long excluded them. It was the first Zimbabwean manned-security company certified to ISO 9001. She is a past president of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce and has taken more than twenty awards since 1998.
